We had lunch at granny's. I like being there. Peaceful, quiet, calm. Nothing and amazing.

Funny, I wasn't sure about what I wanted. Now I'm not sure I'm happy about where it's going.

Is it pride or did we really want something?

Back to Boston in a few days.

What a journey. Tired. Awake, unfortunately.

There was a shuttle bus to Geneva, then a train to Paris, then maybe thirteen hours of flying across the world to get here. Far away so close.

The plane landed at about ten or so this evening, and they couldn't find my bags. Tomorrow the meetings begin at nine and I'm probably wearing jeans, a grey t-shirt and purple sneakers. Thank God I didn't wear my bright orange Timber Wolf t-shirt onto the plane. Almost.

Met up with a friend in town and we wandered about for a bit, grabbing a supper that I really didn't need, but the food was amazing and we caught up over coffee and tea.

In the hotel now with a decent view of the city in an orange peppered darkness. I wonder if I'll be able to see the sun rise from here.

Every few days I find myself thinking about her and I say no don't, but I do.

Yes a heart will always go one step too far.
Come the morning and the four corners I see,
What the moral of the back story could be.

I miss you.
I love you.

(ps) I kinda miss her.
Chamonix - Mont Blanc. I sleep well out here. I like the quiet, the green, even the rain.

We arrived late last night and found a dish of gratin dauphinoise waiting for us.

There were about 25 of us for lunch and then 55 for dinner. Then the groom and the bride and all the friends came over to our chalet and we sneaked in bottles of champagne and white wine. I like being out here.
